ASE Posts NT$63.033B Revenue in May, Highest in 43 Months Amid AI Chip Boom

Advanced Semiconductor Engineering (ASE) reported May revenue of NT$63.033 billion on June 9, up 28.57% year-over-year and 1.26% month-over-month, marking the highest figure in 43 months, according to the company. The strong performance was driven by robust demand for AI and high-performance computing (HPC) chips. Its packaging, testing and materials business segment generated NT$42.162 billion in May, up 37.9% year-over-year. Year-to-date revenue through May reached NT$298.943 billion, up 19.87% compared to the same period last year.
