According to CoinDesk, Coinbase and Cardless launched a stablecoin-backed credit card on June 9, designed for users unable to obtain traditional credit but holding digital assets. Applicants collateralize a portion of their USDC holdings while continuing to earn staking rewards, with a $49.99 fee to access the card. The partnership extends prior collaboration between the two companies; Coinbase previously issued an American Express card offering up to 4% bitcoin cashback.
