According to CCTV News, Cyprus held parliamentary elections on May 24, with 752 candidates vying for 56 seats. A total of 743 candidates represented 19 parties and party alliances, while 9 candidates ran as independents. Approximately 569,000 eligible voters participated at around 1,200 polling stations nationwide, with additional overseas voting points in Greece, the UK, and Belgium. Voting took place between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. local time.
