India Launches $650M AI City Project in Bengaluru Targeting 25,000 Researchers by 2030

The project offers 400 Gbps connectivity to four major AI cloud providers and plans to support 25,000 researchers and thousands of humanoid robots by 2030.

Collaborating with Nvidia, the initiative has already attracted 25 startups and aims to test whether autonomous AI systems can manage daily tasks for humans at scale. Future phases will use a hybrid solar and nuclear microreactor energy model. The project is positioning itself as a blueprint for AI infrastructure expansion across Southeast Asia and West Asia, exploring the commercial viability of AI-powered life management systems.
