Starknet Launches STRK20 Privacy Framework for ERC20 Assets

According to The Block, Starknet launched STRK20, a zero-knowledge privacy framework enabling private transfers and balance shielding for any ERC20 asset on the network. The framework has already been deployed on strkBTC. STRK20 uses an embedded "masking" mechanism rather than traditional mixers and introduces a viewing key system for selective disclosure of wallet information in response to legal requests, allowing developers to add privacy features to transfers, swaps, lending, staking, payments, and donations without building separate privacy infrastructure.
