#稳定币 Seeing traditional financial giants like Barclays investing in stablecoin settlement infrastructure, my first reaction is not excitement, but a sense of reassurance.

The significance of this is not just another hot concept, but that the underlying logic of stablecoins is finally gaining institutional recognition — they are no longer just fleeting hype but are gradually being solidified as a financial infrastructure within a strict regulatory framework. Barclays collaborating with top banks like Goldman Sachs and UBS to explore compliant issuance, and Ubyx serving as a clearing system to connect different issuers, what does this indicate? It shows that the entire industry is transitioning from "wild growth" to "orderly development."

But I want to remind everyone that improving infrastructure is a good thing, but it’s not a signal to jump in. Many people can’t resist when they see institutional involvement, and that’s when they are most likely to suffer losses. The core value of stablecoins lies in risk hedging and liquidity, not in appreciation expectations. If you treat it as an investment asset to speculate, you are putting the cart before the horse.

My simple advice: if you are managing assets, stablecoins can be used as a tool for position management — for temporarily parking funds, balancing volatility, and waiting for better opportunities. Allocate 5-10% of your overall portfolio to it for risk management, rather than putting all your chips into one direction. The most needed long-term mindset is precisely this kind of "boring but effective" patience.
