A significant shift in the trajectory of the TON ecosystem. According to Doroff, Telegram will replace the TON Foundation, becoming the main driver of the network and the largest verifying entity.
Under the new strategy, Telegram is expected to place greater emphasis on the technical performance of the TON network. Accordingly, updates will be rolled out over the next two to three weeks, including a new official website for the network, developer tools, and performance improvements.
This step aims to enhance TON's scalability and improve the user experience. It is worth noting that the official Toncoin website is currently under maintenance and displays a message indicating that some changes are being made.
