The Altcoin Season Index sits at 37 out of 100. Bitcoin dominance broke above 60% this week. Only 8% of altcoins are trading above their 50-day moving averages. The data is not ambiguous. This is Bitcoin season and it is not done yet.

The 2021 altseason happened because retail flooded the market and dominance fell from 70% to 38% in months. That structure does not exist today. Institutional allocators holding over $80 billion in spot Bitcoin products do not rotate into small-cap altcoins. They stay in Bitcoin or move to cash.
