Methods for Scientific Brain Training to Fully Enhance Brain Function



Like muscles, the brain can be continuously optimized through scientific training. The following seven validated training methods cover multiple dimensions such as vision, hearing, attention, memory, and logical thinking. Both adults and children can practice them to efficiently improve brain performance.

Among them, the Schulte table is a well-known and highly effective basic training. It usually consists of a grid of randomly arranged numbers (commonly 5×5 or 7×7). During training, you need to quickly find all the numbers in ascending or descending order within a limited time. This process simultaneously engages visual search, eye tracking, and attention regulation abilities. Long-term practice can significantly improve concentration, reaction speed, and visual breadth, making it especially suitable for children to reduce learning distractions and adults to enhance work efficiency.

In addition, other training methods each have their focus:

Stroop Training (Stop Training): Say the color of the words rather than the words themselves. By creating cognitive conflict, it exercises the functions of the prefrontal cortex and temporal lobe, improving attention, memory, and multitasking ability.

Sequential Working Memory Training: Remember the categories and order of items, strengthening the encoding and retrieval efficiency of memory, and accelerating the learning of new skills.

Auditory Selective Attention Training: Remember the heard numbers in sequence, exercising the auditory cortex and prefrontal cortex, enhancing the ability to focus on key information in noisy environments.

Bilateral Limb Mirror Coordination Training: Synchronously draw mirror images with both hands, stimulating the development of the motor cortex and cerebellum, improving writing and typing efficiency, and reducing mental blockages.

Rule-Guided Classification Logic Training: Classify items based on attributes, optimizing logical thinking, information integration, and decision-making efficiency.

Scenario Association Memory Training: Construct coherent scene stories with objects, strengthening information storage and semantic integration abilities through associative memory.

These trainings do not require complex tools. Practicing daily can keep the brain active, demonstrating better focus, memory, and logical skills in learning, work, and daily life.
