Wow, it turns out that by 2025, photo-based homework solutions are no longer science fiction but a real tool on your smartphone. Just point the camera at the problem and voilà — the neural network recognizes even handwritten text, formulas, and provides step-by-step solutions. I’ve known about Photomath and Mathway for a long time, but it turns out there are already many alternatives.

The most interesting thing is that now there are universal platforms like BotHub, where you can choose any neural network (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) and upload a photo of the problem. There’s a free plan, which is convenient. For pure math, Photomath and Symbolab are recommended — they really understand formulas well and show each step. But if you need a photo-based solution for physics or chemistry, it’s better to use MathGPT or Gauth, as they cover more subjects.

Wolfram|Alpha is a beast — it doesn’t just solve, it calculates itself and plots graphs. For university-level math, it’s a must-have. And then there’s Google DeepMind’s Nano Banana Pro, which can even reproduce the answer in the same handwriting, which is funny. In short, if you’re tired of solving homework manually, choose one that fits your needs — there are plenty of options.
