Just looked up Clix and honestly the guy's earnings are insane for his age. So basically he's this Fortnite player from Connecticut who blew up after hitting the World Cup in 2019, and now at 21 he's sitting on like $27 million net worth. Wild right?
The thing that gets me is how much does clix make a year - we're talking somewhere between $1.1 to $1.5 million annually. That's from streaming on Twitch, YouTube (dude has over 3.6 million subscribers), tournament winnings, and brand deals. Like his YouTube alone can bring in $1,200 to $18k per month depending on how many views he's getting.
He's been grinding since 2017 on YouTube and won some massive tournaments too. The Fortnite World Cup alone gave him $112k back in 2019, then FNCS Finals in 2021 was another $80k. Pretty crazy trajectory for someone who started as a teenager just trying to get good at the game.
What's interesting is he's still pretty young but seems to have his head on straight - keeps his personal life private, focuses on the grind. His Instagram's at 2.5M followers too so the dude's basically everywhere in the gaming space. Makes you wonder how much does clix make a year compared to other streamers honestly, because these numbers are pretty staggering.
