Canvas hacked by hackers | Parent company says platform services have been restored
After a large-scale attack by a hacking organization on the Learning Management System Canvas LMS, its service was temporarily interrupted. Canvas parent company Instructure stated that the Canvas platform has resumed operation.
Instructure stated in a statement that unauthorized personnel had tampered with platform pages. To be cautious, they immediately took the platform offline, restricted access, and launched an investigation. They have also hired a team of experts to minimize the impact caused by the incident.
