Mars Finance News, May 9 — According to reports, a liquefied natural gas carrier associated with Qatar loaded cargo at Ras Laffan Port earlier this month. On Saturday morning local time, the vessel began attempting to exit the Persian Gulf. Ship tracking data shows that the vessel is currently sailing along the northern route near Qeshm Island and Larak Island, approved by Iran. If the ship successfully passes through, it will be the first known liquefied natural gas export passing through the Strait of Hormuz from Qatar since the outbreak of war at the end of February. The vessel’s listed destination is Kashi Port in Pakistan, with an expected arrival date of May 1. (Jin10)
