Golden Finance reports that on May 10th, according to CCTV News, on May 9th local time, U.S. President Trump stated that he expects to receive a response from Iran “soon” regarding the latest peace plan from the United States, and he said Iran is “very eager” to reach a lasting peace agreement.
It is reported that Trump made the above statement during a phone interview on that day. He said Iran still intends to complete peace negotiations.
Trump told the media at a golf course in Virginia on the 9th that the U.S. “expects to receive a letter from Iran tonight,” and said he will observe the development of the situation.
When asked whether Iran is deliberately delaying the negotiation process, Trump responded, “I don’t know, we will find out very soon.”
