Tom Lee Says Ethereum Is the Best-Performing Asset Since Middle East Crisis Began
BitMine Chairman Tom Lee said in a May 5 speech at Paris Blockchain Week 2026 that Ethereum has outperformed energy stocks and the S&P 500 since the Middle East crisis began, beating the index by nearly 20 percentage points. Lee said the crypto bull market could last into 2028 if markets weather the crisis and the U.S. economy remains resilient despite higher oil prices.
