CATL has recently received a lot of criticism online.

Meanwhile, SK Hynix in South Korea has become popular lately, with frontline assembly line workers earning an average bonus of 690k yuan in 2025, plus an annual salary of 230k yuan, almost reaching a million yuan in annual income for assembly line workers!
Total income is more than ten times that of CATL employees.
CATL's stock price doubled in two years, with profits increasing from $9.3 billion to $12.3 billion.
In 2025, the company paid a total cash dividend of 36.1 billion yuan to shareholders.
CEO Zeng Yuqun personally received more than 8 billion yuan in dividends.
Beneath the shiny financial reports, the plight of frontline employees is bleak.
Frontline workers and grassroots technicians saw their monthly salaries increase by only 150 yuan, with only a 3,200 yuan subsidy for staying on duty during the Spring Festival.
While capital executives at CATL are raking in profits, grassroots salaries are painfully low, and the disparity is especially glaring.
Only I still envy the assembly line workers at SK Hynix in South Korea.
