During this trip to China, what stage has the FSD China rollout agenda already reached?
Because in my view,
Once FSD truly enters the Chinese market, it will bring more than just car sales revenue.
It will become Tesla’s future real cash flow engine—after deducting all kinds of expenses, the profit from selling one car is only a few thousand dollars.
Domestic Tesla ownership has already surpassed 2 million units. As long as FSD is officially approved and rolled out, even if only 15% of car owners subscribe, that’s still hundreds of thousands of stable paying users. Software services have almost no marginal cost, and the gross profit margin far exceeds that of selling cars—this is effortless, ongoing cash flow.
