In 2026, the most suitable platform for building a crypto brand remains X.

I know many people are already tired of this answer.
Because over the past two years, the entire industry has been discussing Farcaster, Lens, Zora, and even AI-native social.
Everyone is waiting for the next social network that truly belongs to Web3.
But those who have actually driven growth understand one thing: cryptocurrency has never been about who has the most advanced technology, who wins.
And it’s about who first forms market consensus; that’s still X’s strongest point today.
I have seriously operated Farcaster for a period of time and really enjoy the high-density developer atmosphere there.
Many discussions are even of higher quality than CT, but the problem is it’s more like an internal industry meeting room than a market capable of generating global sentiment.
What truly drives explosive growth in crypto projects is not just high-quality discussion but emotional diffusion.
Why do certain protocols suddenly go viral across the entire network?
Why can memecoins multiply dozens of times in a few days?
Why does a certain narrative form consensus within hours?
These things fundamentally require an ultra-large-scale attention pool.
And in 2026, that pool is still on X, because X’s greatest advantage has never been social, but that it compresses finance, media, public opinion, and real-time market sentiment into the same time stream.
Venture capitalists observe narratives here;
Traders seek Alpha here;
Founders test market reactions here;
Retail investors form FOMO here;
No platform can do all of this at once.
But I also believe that by 2028, the landscape will definitely change, as AI-native social applications will start swallowing up many traditional platform functions.
Because in the future, content itself will become extremely cheap, AI can generate posts infinitely, videos infinitely, opinions infinitely.
By that stage, what truly matters is not content quantity, but who has real identities and genuine influence.
I even think the biggest change in 2028 might be: humans actively fleeing from fully algorithmized information flows.
People will increasingly dislike being drowned in AI-generated content, and what truly becomes valuable will instead be:
Real human opinions;
Real human relationships;
Real human credibility;
That’s also why I am paying more and more attention to protocols like @RallyOnChain.
It has actually seen through one thing: in the AI era, the most important asset is no longer content creation ability, but influence verification ability.
Who truly influences users;
Who truly shapes dissemination;
Who truly drives discussion;
These things will become more and more valuable.
So my simple judgment is: in 2026, X will still be the strongest platform for building crypto brands.
But by 2028, the industry’s true dominators are likely not today’s social media platforms.
Instead, they will be new social infrastructures capable of verifying real human influence, filtering AI noise, and on-chain reputation.
