These past two days, I’ve been switching back and forth between the mainnet and L2, and I finally realized that ordinary people really don’t need to “believe” in any one of them… The mainnet is like a highway—stable, but with expensive tolls; L2 is like an overpass—when it’s running smoothly, the experience is really silky, but if there’s ever a traffic jam on the bridge, you can only just wait it out. My compromise right now is: for small, frequent interactions and some trial usage, I stay on L2; if I really need to move large amounts or set important approvals, I go back to the mainnet once and get it done—I’d rather pay a bit more gas for peace of mind.

By the way, I also took a look at the funding rates—they’re totally out of control. In the group, they’re starting to argue again about whether it’ll reverse or whether they should keep squeezing the bubble… As for me, I’ll first figure out where the liquidation waterfall is, and don’t let emotions carry me away. After staring for too long, my eyes get a bit sore, and my neck feels stiff too. I’ll go drink some water first, then come back.
