Sometimes it's not really "on-chain data lying," it's just that the layer you're looking at is delayed: slow node synchronization, RPC hiccups, indexers queuing for a few more minutes, and what you see as transactions or transfers is like a delayed live broadcast... Then everyone starts arguing in the group chat, "Is this malicious activity?" Recently, there's been talk of regional tax increases and compliance tightening and loosening, making deposit and withdrawal expectations more sensitive. The more sensitive it gets, the easier it is to scare yourself by focusing on those few minutes of on-chain delay. To put it simply, on-chain is on-chain; what you see is just the path you're connected to. If you can only keep one habit: compare at least two data sources before making important judgments.
