I found that the biggest benefit of grid/DCA strategies is actually better sleep quality... Going all-in is satisfying, but the first thing I do when I wake up in the middle of the night is to check my phone to see if I've been liquidated on the chain, my heartbeat racing just like MEV frontrunning. Grid is like adding a guardrail for myself; whether I make money or not is another matter, at least I don't stare at the candlestick chart in a daze. Recently, there have been a bunch of AI Agents/auto-trading shouting "free your hands," honestly I don't care who is pushing the narrative, I'm more worried about contract permissions and wallet interactions, lest in the end it frees up assets... I just turned off some automatic authorization, better to earn a little less than to be stuck at 3 a.m. refreshing TVL and messing with my mental state.
