I tend to hold onto spot positions poorly, wanting to sell as soon as it rises a bit, only to see it continue soaring when I turn my head; futures are even worse, itching to leverage up, and the market shakes a little and it blows up right in front of me… Later, I realized one simple truth: don’t mistake a moment of impulsiveness for a long-term plan, and your position size should be able to withstand your worst emotions. Honestly, I now only keep a small part for myself to FOMO, and treat the rest as nonexistent—being able to sleep is enough. Recently, the group has been repeatedly sharing rumors about stablecoin regulation, reserve audits, and de-pegging, and I get anxious too, but I first cut down that “position that keeps me awake,” don’t force it. There’s also a little side story: some time ago, I watched someone shouting every day, got hyped up and followed them, but after losing that wave, I immediately unfollowed… After a few calm days, I realized it’s not their fault, it’s that I didn’t hit the brakes. For now, making fewer mistakes is better than earning more easily.
