Odaily Planet Daily News reports that according to Lookonchain monitoring, before the HYPE price surged, a short seller was closing their position while selling HYPE, and un-staking 443.18k HYPE tokens (worth $27 million). They have sold 231.9k HYPE tokens (worth $14.15 million), with 211.28k HYPE tokens (worth $13 million) still in the process of being sold. They still hold a short position of 141.5k HYPE tokens (worth $8.67 million), with an unrealized loss exceeding $2.5 million.
