Gate offers direct access to U.S. stock trading, and it's more than just compliance...

During OTC trading, I accidentally discovered that Gate's TradFi section has added a new stock trading segment.
I'm a bit puzzled—what's the difference between this and the previous security tokens? So I did some research.
Gate achieves direct access to U.S. stocks by partnering with U.S. stock brokerages.
The broker's BaaS (Brokerage-as-a-Service), which packages licensing, compliance, clearing, and trading into APIs, is provided to Gate.
Therefore, when users trade U.S. stocks with USDT on Gate, it's equivalent to trading real U.S. stocks on a brokerage platform using dollars.
First, the broker provides compliant securities trading services, and with Gate US holding licenses for remittance business (MTL) in 35 U.S. states, the compliance process has always been ahead.
Second, Gate's TradFi spot trading counterparties are not limited to Gate users but connect to global exchanges like NYSE, Nasdaq, NYSE Arca, NYSE American, BATS through broker partnerships, resulting in better liquidity and trading depth.
Third, Gate's collaboration with brokers breaks down the barriers between the crypto market and TradFi, allowing Gate accounts to trade stocks, ETFs, and tens of thousands of other assets in mainstream markets.
Fourth, buying stocks spot on Gate grants dividend rights. When U.S. stocks pay dividends, holding dividend stocks in Gate automatically credits the dividends to your account—no need to apply.
Fifth, the process to register with a broker is very cumbersome, but on Gate, you only need to complete basic KYC verification to start trading.
Almost every exchange is involved in U.S. stocks and TradFi, each with its own features.
Gate's overall advantage is the wide variety of tradable securities. Spot + perpetual + CFD, offering many trading options.
The latest feature—stock spot trading—leverages the advantages of having a broker, with the disadvantages of not having one.
On one hand, connecting to the five major exchanges through a broker means the assets, counterparties, liquidity, and depth are comparable to trading through a broker, and you also enjoy stock dividends.
On the other hand, trading U.S. stocks on Gate doesn't require complicated registration processes; you can trade directly with USDT, making it efficient and low-cost.
