ME News message — On April 22 (UTC+8), according to Dongcha Beating monitoring, Bloomberg News cited a report by Eugenio Benincasa, a senior researcher at the Security Research Center of ETH Zurich, saying that in recent months Chinese cybersecurity company 360 Digital Security Group has announced the development of an AI-driven “Vulnerability Discovery Agent,” which has found nearly 1,000 previously unknown software vulnerabilities, affecting products such as Microsoft Office and the open-source AI agent framework OpenClaw.

The report was published by Natto Thoughts, which focuses on cybersecurity research in China, and it reviewed a series of recent Chinese announcements from 360. 360 said that AI has “evolved from an auxiliary tool into the core engine for vulnerability discovery,” and earlier this year it also announced the development of AI tools to accelerate the construction of exploit chains. Exploit chains are prerequisites for infiltrating target computers. Benincasa believes that 360 is positioning itself as a direct competitor to Anthropic Mythos.
