Chairman of China Mobile, Chen Zhongyue: Will build an integrated computing power network and deploy ultra-large-scale intelligent computing centers

Mars Finance News. At the 2026 MWC Shanghai opening ceremony, Chen Zhongyue, Chairman of China Mobile, said that future mobile intelligence will no longer be limited to any person or any platform, but will extend into deep collaboration between humans and intelligence. To this end, China Mobile will advance the deployment of 5G-A, ten-gigabit optical networks, and integrated space-air-ground networks, using AI demand to drive 6G R&D; build self-intelligent networks; and establish an integrated computing-power network, including plans for ultra-large-scale intelligent computing centers, to create a three-tier coordinated computing-power system of “center–edge–on-device.” Chen Zhongyue also proposed a three-stage evolution of intelligent forms: from “disembodied intelligence” on phones, to “embodied intelligence” in humanoid robots, and then to “inward-bodied intelligence” in a human–machine symbiosis, deeply integrating into all production and daily-life scenarios.
