Oman opens a temporary shipping lane in the Strait of Hormuz

Oman media reported on the 23rd that Oman has opened a temporary shipping lane through the Strait of Hormuz for ships to pass.
Oman News Agency stated in the report that Oman, in coordination with the International Maritime Organization, has established this temporary route, which aligns with the recent memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran.
Oman is committed to ensuring that ships "navigate freely through this strategic waterway without paying tolls."
On the same day, the International Maritime Organization announced that Iran, Oman, and other regional coastal countries, the United States, and the international shipping industry are working closely together to evacuate more than 11,000 seafarers currently stranded in the Strait of Hormuz area.
