🇺🇸 The U.S. has moved closer to blocking a CBDC through 2030.

• The Senate approved a CBDC ban restricting the Federal Reserve from issuing a digital dollar.

• The House also passed the legislation in a 358–32 vote, sending it to President Trump’s desk.

The 2030 ban deadline is quite subtle, just enough to give traditional finance a window for transformation. I'm more curious whether this will force private stablecoins and public blockchains like Ethereum to accelerate their efforts to seize the market?

The CBDC ban passed both the House and the Senate, which is good news for decentralized communities, at least no longer worrying about the Federal Reserve directly issuing competing currencies. However, whether Trump signs it or not still depends, it feels like this show isn't over yet.

358票对32票,这比例有点一边倒啊。看来美国两党在反CBDC这事上意外团结,背后是不是有大金主在推动?#EthereumFoundationRestructuresForEfficiency
