Hey guys, I've been seeing a lot of posts about AI computing power expansion lately, but all the content is focused on how to improve efficiency and scale up. Few people think further ahead—once quantum computing really becomes mainstream, will the security foundation of our current encryption system still hold? @quipnetwork
That's why I've been digging into Quip Network recently.
Its core is building a decentralized computing power network, pooling idle CPU and GPU resources from everyone so hardware doesn't go to waste.
Unlike many projects that rely on task points to boost daily active users, it uses useful proof of work—computing power runs real computational demands, not meaningless energy consumption, and each node's contribution has actual value.
The most forward-looking aspect is its early deployment of post-quantum security.
Many people think the quantum threat is still far off, but waiting until the risk is at your doorstep is too late for remediation.
Quip can now add a quantum protection layer to wallets and assets on existing chains, without changing addresses or migrating, directly overlaying a defense layer on current assets. This approach is truly thinking long-term.
Another easily overlooked advantage is its open ecosystem.
It doesn't create a closed, exclusive circle but allows developers, researchers, and node operators to participate and collaborate.
New technologies naturally progress faster through open experimentation and trial-and-error. Everyone contributes computing power and knowledge, not just money, and this collaboration structure is more likely to build long-term competitiveness.
In the end, today's centralized computing silos will eventually fail to meet future demands for security and scalability.
Quip isn't just capitalizing on the current market trend—it's building a more autonomous and resilient underlying digital infrastructure.
