Iran's military only allows ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz via the waterway south of Larak Island.

BlockBeats News. On June 29, local time, in the afternoon of the 29th, the Iranian military announced that all vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz are only permitted to use the route south of Larak Island.

Previously, on the 28th, the Iranian side released a statement saying that vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz still need to coordinate with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. For vessels entering the Persian Gulf, the safest route is located south of Hormuz Island, while for vessels leaving the Persian Gulf, they should choose the passage south of Larak Island. (CCTV)
