Gaode today announced an upgrade to its AI Premium Ride feature. Users simply need to express their travel needs in their own words, and the built-in "AI Premium Ride Butler" can automatically identify key information from the statement and match a premium ride that meets personalized requirements.

After the Gaode AI Premium Ride upgrade, the "AI Premium Ride Butler" can understand user needs expressed in natural language. Users don't need to browse menus, select tags, or organize phrases to communicate with the driver. They only need to fully describe their travel scenario and condition, and the system will automatically recognize multiple layers of needs and complete service configuration. The user is responsible for expressing their condition, while the AI handles understanding and dispatching the service.

For example, saying "A family of three going to Capital Airport, with elderly, and prone to car sickness," the "AI Premium Ride Butler" will analyze that the elderly need smooth driving, and that passengers prone to car sickness need a gasoline car with ventilation — automatically matching a premium ride and prompting the driver to drive smoothly and open windows for ventilation.

Saying "Just got off the plane, have luggage, want to rest," the driver will receive a prompt to help with luggage; saying "Afraid of heat," the air conditioning will have already been adjusted to a comfortable temperature upon boarding; saying "Thirsty," water is already prepared...

Open the Gaode Maps app, long-press the microphone, and the user speaks their condition and destination. No need to enter menus, fill in notes, or make any phone calls. A single sentence can hail a ride. Currently, this capability has been launched on Gaode Maps, covering initial cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Chengdu. Users can experience it by updating the app to the latest version.
