$LAB It has dropped nearly 10% within 24 hours. On the 4-hour level, it has been falling all the way from the 17.68 point, with 4 out of 6 candlesticks closing bearish, indicating a concentrated release of bearish momentum.

The funding rate remains negative, meaning short positions are essentially subsidizing the cost. Active buy orders account for 52%, yet the price stubbornly refuses to rise. In essence, it’s low-level bargain-hunting capital absorbing the selling pressure — a classic case of catching a falling knife.

Short near 16.2-17.5, targets at 12 and 9.

Funding rate is so negative and shorts are still paying, waiting for a short squeeze?

The phrase "catching a falling knife" is too vivid; the longs entering now are truly licking blood from the blade.

Each leg down then moves sideways for about 10 consecutive hours to eat up funding fees that are larger than the percentage drop. Most of the guys who are short end up losing money because of fees, while only a few are lucky enough to make a little profit—just something to “eat.” The funding fee mechanism is the dirty, disgusting nature of crypto exchanges.

16.2-17.5 short to 12, this target seems a bit aggressive.
