BTC worth $66k—would you dare to chase it?
First, look at the surface: the bearish news hasn’t been fully digested yet, and the price has already jumped 14%.
When it broke below 58k in June, the whole network cheered, “The bear market is here,” and the fear index fell to 29. Then in July, it bounced from 58k all the way back to 66k—ETFs saw consecutive days of net inflows, with nearly $200 million flowing in over the week. The shorts were blown out completely.
The candlesticks tell you: the price is above the EMA20 (63.7k), the daily MACD golden cross is in place, and the RSI is around 60—neutral but slightly bullish.
First thing: ETFs have continued to flow in, but you need to see how much has flowed out.
June ETF outflows hit a record—$4.5 billion. Since July, only $273 million has come back. That’s less than a fraction. Yes, the consecutive 5 days of inflows do boost sentiment—but compared with June’s massive outflows, this is just a drop in the bucket.
Institutions are warming up, but it’s nowhere near FOMO territory.
Second thing: EMA50 is at 65k. The price has just crossed above it—still not confirmed.
The daily EMA20 (63.7k) has already been reclaimed. EMA50 is near 65k, and the price has just tapped 66k—less than $1,000 away. EMA200 is at 74k, still far out of reach.
This means the short-term is repairing, but the mid-term is still pinned under a descending channel.
67.3k was the mid-June high—it failed to break above it three times. If this time comes with a volume breakout, the target goes straight to 70k. If it can’t, the supports at 64k and 62k are waiting to be tested.
Third thing: two “can’t-ignore” changes have happened.
Change one: miners aren’t selling anymore.
Hut 8 signed an AI data center leasing contract, and miners shifted from “forced selling” to “diversifying revenue.” This means mining costs are no longer the hard pressure to sell coins. Historically, when miners stop dumping, it’s often one of the most reliable signals of a major-cycle bottom.
Change two: the CLARITY bill is coming.
Expectations for regulatory clarity are heating up—SEC and CFTC roles are clearly divided. The biggest obstacle preventing institutions from touching BTC is being removed. This is more important than any short-term tailwind.
Spot the battle between bulls and bears—you decide.
On one side:
ETFs have net inflowed for 5 straight days—institutional demand is recovering
Daily MACD golden cross, and price is above EMA20 (63.7k)
Miners pivot to AI—sell-pressure logic changes
CLARITY bill advancing—regulatory clarity is on the way
On the other side:
June outflows were $4.5 billion; July has only brought back $273 million—barely anything
EMA50 (65k) has just been touched; EMA200 (74k) is still far away
Geopolitics (Iran) + rising oil prices suppress risk appetite
MicroStrategy stops buying BTC and shifts to selling stock to hold cash ($3.2 billion)
Key levels
Resistance overhead: 67.3k (the June high that couldn’t be crossed three times) → 70k (psychological level) → 74k (EMA200)
Support below: 64k (strong support) → 62k-63,000 → 60k (psychological big level)
For short-term traders:
Wait for a pullback to 63,500-64,500 and go long in batches with small positions. Stop loss below 62k. Take profit: exit half at 67,300 first. If price breaks 67,300 with volume and you chase long, target 70,000.
For swing traders:
Wait for the daily close to hold above 67,300 before getting on from the right side. Stop loss: 64,000. Targets: 70,000-74k.
For long-term believers:
Keep DCA in the 62k-60k range. Bitcoin’s long-term logic (digital gold + institutional reserves) hasn’t changed. After the halving, scarcity will only get stronger. The 2027-2028 target is 100k+, but don’t all-in at 66k—this is a repair phase, not the main uptrend.
BTC dropped from 126k to 58k—
down 48%. It bounced back to 66k in July—
and you didn’t cut? Then when it hasn’t even rebounded 10%, you run?
What kind of operation is that? That’s called selling precisely before takeoff.
On the day the 67,300 breakout happens, you’ll realize:
It’s not that BTC won’t rise—
it’s that every time, you get off the ride right before the rebound. #GUSD年化升至3.8% #ETH突破1900美元 #夏日创作营 $BTC $ETH $SOL
