Ethereum 15-minute timeframe market analysis (July 23, 2026)
I. Trend overview
The 15-minute cycle aligns with the 4-hour and 1-hour levels in a bullish convergence, with the directions of both small and large timeframes highly overlapping. Overall, the uptrend still has continuity, and the bigger-picture direction remains led by bulls, fully consistent with the logic of higher timeframes.
II. Current pattern and range structure
The market has repeatedly shown early signs of a head-and-shoulders top formation, but it has never effectively broken down below the corresponding neckline. Price is currently in a range-bound consolidation phase, with bulls and bears in short-term balance. It has not yet broken out into a clear one-way move; this is a consolidating buildup within an ongoing up move.
III. Trading strategy
Signals within the current range are unclear, so it’s not advisable to enter positions impulsively. Prioritize waiting patiently for confirmation of a range breakout before taking action:
1. Upside breakout path: If price effectively breaks above the range’s upper resistance level, then decisively follow up with a long position. Set the stop-loss around 1900 near the lower end of the range. Take-profit target is around 2000.
2. Downside breakdown path: If price confirms a breakdown by breaking the head-and-shoulders neckline and also pierces below the range’s lower support, then the short-term bullish buildup fails. You should exit in time to avoid the risk of a pullback.
IV. Core viewpoint
The lower timeframe is currently in a consolidation buildup phase, but the higher timeframe bullish structure has not been damaged. Trend priority is higher than short-term pattern signals. Trading-wise, focus mainly on standing by and waiting; once the direction is clear, follow the trend. This offers better cost-effectiveness and higher certainty.
