$DEXE This batch of shorts has already returned more than 5x, but what really makes me comfortable isn’t how much I’ve made—it’s that I wasn’t shaken out by a rebound in the middle.

This coin previously surged to around 6.45, looking very strong, but later every rebound has been weaker than the last, with the highs also being pushed lower and lower.

I entered the short around 4.015 following the move. A few times the price popped up, it looked like it might reverse, but it never managed to get back to the key level—so I’ve kept holding until now.

The current price is now near 2.923. All the 1-hour moving averages are above the price, and open interest is still increasing, which suggests the bulls and bears are continuing to clash hard.

Old greenhands all know: after you catch the trend, the hardest part isn’t opening the position—it’s whether you can hold onto it. The short is still on, but at this point I won’t blindly chase another short.
