District0x is an open-source Web3 network that aims to enable developers to create decentralized marketplaces and communities, known as "Districts." These Districts seek to address the coordination issues and inefficiencies present in many distributed markets. Districts provide the core functionalities needed to operate an online market or community, such as the ability for users to post listings, filter and search listings, rank peers and build reputation, and send invoices and collect payments. The platform also features an ERC-20 token, DNT, which owners can use to access and even help govern (through a stake-weighted voting mechanism) certain communities.
