Gate Research: Fed Confirms Warsh as Governor, Aave Confirms Attacker’s rsETH on Arbitrum Has Been Burned

Gate Research Daily Report: April CPI data coming in above market expectations, combined with Kevin Warsh’s Fed chair nomination process, has made BTC more likely to remain range-bound in the short term. ETH has generally underperformed BTC. The continued rise of AI Agent and on-chain automated trading narratives drove strong gains in BNKR following the launch of the FOMO Feed App, while renewed interest in modular scalability and liquid staking also brought increased market attention to SAGA and SD. The Fed has confirmed Kevin Warsh as a governor, with confirmation of his appointment as Fed Chair potentially coming as early as Wednesday. Aave also confirmed that the first phase of the rsETH recovery plan has been completed, including the destruction of the attacker’s rsETH on Arbitrum. Meanwhile, Sei Network has shut down inbound IBC asset transfers as the network gradually transitions toward a fully EVM-focused architecture.
