Golden Finance reports that on May 23, according to CCTV News, Iran's Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian posted on social media that he had a phone call with UN Secretary-General Guterres to exchange views on the latest regional situation and the diplomatic progress between Iran and the United States mediated by Pakistan.
Abdollahian said: "The repeated breach of trust and military aggression by the United States, along with its contradictory stance and excessive demands, are all factors hindering the progress of Pakistan-mediated negotiations." Abdollahian also stated that despite harboring strong suspicion towards the United States, Iran remains engaged in the relevant diplomatic process with a responsible and highly serious attitude, and is striving to achieve a fair and just outcome.
