Gate, a global leading digital asset trading platform, has announced an upgrade to the CEX MCP module of its AI Agent infrastructure, Gate for AI, enabling AI Agents to directly access the exchange’s centralized trading capabilities.

Through this interface, AI can not only retrieve real-time market data such as spot and futures prices, order book depth, K-line charts, and funding rates, but also execute trading operations including placing, canceling, and modifying spot and futures orders. In addition, AI can query account balances, perform fund transfers, manage sub-accounts, and handle asset management functions such as deposits and withdrawals.

All functions are accessible after authorization through a Gate account, allowing AI to securely execute trading operations while accessing market information. With this upgrade, Gate for AI now offers a comprehensive five-capability framework covering CEX, DEX, wallet signatures, real-time news, and on-chain data, enabling AI Agents to complete the full workflow from market analysis to trade execution within a unified framework.
