Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission collaborates with three major regulatory agencies and Cyberport to launch the "GenA.I Sandbox++ Program"

PANews March 5 News: The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, together with the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the Insurance Authority, and the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority, in collaboration with Cyberport, has launched the Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) Sandbox++ program. The initiative aims to promote the responsible adoption of AI technology within Hong Kong’s financial ecosystem. The GenAI Sandbox++ provides licensed institutions with a risk-controlled environment to develop, test, and optimize generative AI solutions in three key areas: risk management, anti-fraud, and customer experience. Participants will receive targeted regulatory guidance and technical support, as well as free access to GPU computing resources at Cyberport’s AI supercomputing center.
