Many domestic universities strictly prohibit the use of OpenClaw due to its high-risk security vulnerabilities.

Gate News Report, March 12 — Due to a high-risk security vulnerability in the open-source AI agent OpenClaw (“Lobster”), several universities including Anhui Normal University, Jiangsu Normal University, and Zhuhai University of Science and Technology have recently issued urgent notices. They strictly prohibit installing or running this software on campus office equipment and networks. Violators will be dealt with severely.
