Wolfe Research: Fed Unlikely to Raise Rates This Summer

金色财经_

Goldman Sachs reports that on March 24, Wolfe Research analyst Stephanie Roth stated that despite market speculation, the Federal Reserve is unlikely to raise interest rates this summer. Roth wrote in a client report that although the U.S. economy is expected to remain solid this year, the risk of interest rate hikes has recently been re-priced downward.

Inflation remains above the 2% target, with significant upside risks to overall inflation and moderate upside risks to core inflation. Seasonal dynamics and the ongoing impact of artificial intelligence will make the labor market appear sufficiently soft, prompting the Federal Reserve to stay on the sidelines. (East News Agency)
