Mars Finance News: On March 23, according to the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology and the Municipal New Economy Committee, as well as the Chengdu Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, the “Several Measures to Support the Innovative Development of Artificial Intelligence OPC in Chengdu” (Draft for Comments) is currently seeking public opinions. The goal is to implement a series of practical initiatives to strive to create a new highland for artificial intelligence industry development nationwide and a city for global AI application scenario innovation.

The measures include improving the functional layout of space carriers, deepening talent recruitment and cultivation mechanisms, accelerating the development of new products and scenarios, and establishing a sound support system for innovation and entrepreneurship. Thirteen core policies aim to support the development of “super individuals.”

Significant financial investments are a notable feature of these measures, such as providing inclusive computing power support for OPCs with a maximum annual subsidy of 5 million yuan; supporting OPC projects that promote the transformation of AI scientific research achievements with up to 500,000 yuan per project and a total of up to 3 million yuan.
