A new chain has an advantage that an old chain doesn't: you can get it right from day one. Just like renovation is not as good as rebuilding!

This is why Circle $crcl 's Arc announced today that, from the mainnet launch, it will have a built-in #PQC signature scheme, making quantum-resistant wallets available from Day 1. It's not a roadmap, not "we are researching," but directly built in.
Ethereum can't do this—millions of addresses, hundreds of thousands of nodes, changing the cryptographic system requires consensus across the entire network, which is as slow as moving mountains.
The new chain doesn't have this burden; it can be designed directly based on the 2026 threat model.
Google said last week that quantum computers can break ECDSA in 9 minutes. Circle said this week that Arc is PQC-ready from the mainnet launch. The timing doesn't seem like a coincidence; it looks more like a queue to take over. 👀
So it's also understandable why so many quantum-resistant cryptocurrencies, whether PoW or PoS, are doing this—because changing the foundation again might make skyscrapers unbuildable, or at least they all have the capability to do so!
Thinking about it now, it's still necessary to keep increasing $crcl holdings, after all, quantum security is a national-level hard requirement. Whoever solves it will run stablecoins on their chain.
