so i've been looking at what is a good crypto to buy with like a hundred bucks, and xrp keeps popping up. it's sitting at $1.43 right now which honestly feels cheap compared to btc hovering near 100k or eth above 3k. the interesting part is xrp used to hit $3.65 not that long ago, so there's definitely room to run if things click.

the whole institutional adoption angle is actually what's got me thinking about it. started as this thing for regular people sending money abroad, but now banks and financial institutions are actually using it for cross-border transfers. ripple's been positioning xrp as the banker's coin for years, and it seems like it's finally gaining traction with wall street. that kind of demand could push things up over time, which is why some analysts are throwing around wild price targets.

what's different now compared to before is the etf situation. you don't need to mess with crypto exchanges anymore - you can just buy xrp etfs through a regular brokerage account. bitwise, grayscale, canary capital all have them now. so deploying $100 is way easier than it used to be, especially after that sec lawsuit finally wrapped up last year.

that said, this is still high-risk stuff. xrp's volatile, it's competing with stablecoins and faster blockchains, and the price being this low isn't random. but if you're asking what is a good crypto to buy for a smaller amount of money, xrp's at least worth a closer look. the upside could be solid if institutional adoption actually takes off the way people think it will.
