Afghanistan claims to have attacked an important military center in Pakistan; Pakistan says it intercepted two Afghan drones.

The Afghan government’s Ministry of Defense announced that at 5 p.m. that day, an unmanned aerial vehicle attacked an important military center in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. The Afghan Ministry of Defense stated that this attack caused serious casualties and property damage in Pakistan. On the same day, Pakistan’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting said that Pakistani security forces successfully intercepted two simple drones operated by “terrorist organizations” supported by the Afghan government. Aside from minor damage caused by debris from forced drone crashes, no military or other infrastructure was targeted. (CCTV News)
