On October 9, local time, the France National Assembly voted on a motion of no confidence in the government led by Prime Minister Barnier, but the vote was not passed. The National Assembly of France has a total of 577 seats. In the day’s vote, 197 MPs supported the no-confidence motion, failing to reach the minimum of 289 votes required for its passage.
