Recently, I came across the naming contest organized by Sentient and read through all the imaginative proposals in the comments. To be honest, the criteria for a good name are just three words: catchy, memorable, and has a punchline.
After much consideration, I picked the nickname "Aunt San." Why? First of all, it's very down-to-earth, and the pun is spot on, making it naturally more shareable. Secondly, this name fits quite well with the project itself—after all, Sandeep, the core guy from Polygon, is in the team, so the sound "sen/san" is basically unavoidable.
Sometimes, community culture needs symbols that are both humorous and easy to remember. Serious tech projects paired with down-to-earth nicknames can actually help to break the circle. What do you think?
