Just checked the data and my heart skipped a beat—the Fear & Greed Index dropped from 23 yesterday to 20 today. What does that mean? It’s solidly in the "Extreme Fear" range.

How is this thing calculated? Actually pretty scientifically:
Price volatility: 25%
Trading volume: 25%
Social media discussion heat: 15%
Market surveys: 15%
Bitcoin market dominance: 10%
Google Trends search volume: 10%

Below 20 is considered extreme fear. Right now it’s sitting right on the 20 line.

In plain English: the market is full of panic sellers, no one dares to buy, and everyone’s waiting to see if it’ll drop further. People in the group are saying things like, "I’ve already lost so much anyway," and when you hear that a lot, it usually means sentiment has hit rock bottom.

But looking at it from another angle—when the newbies are too scared to move, the seasoned players start looking for opportunities. Why? Because those who wanted out have already left, and those remaining are either true believers or just lying flat waiting to break even. There’s actually not much left to sell.

So the choice in front of us is basically two paths:
Either trust the "be greedy when others are fearful" mantra and start buying in batches while everyone else is too scared?
