#加密货币抵押品应用 I looked at the market information yesterday and my mind was a bit confused 😅 What attracted me the most was the news that the CFTC approved ETH, BTC, and USDC as derivation Collateral — what does this mean for us ordinary people?

Collateral sounds very professional. Does it mean that these currencies have become more "formal"? Does being able to be used as collateral represent that they are safer and more worth holding? Or is it that only large institutions can play this?

Additionally, I've noticed that various coins in the market have been fluctuating up and down these past couple of days, and some people chasing long and short positions have ended up losing a lot. I'm still in the learning phase, so I'm holding onto some ETH for observation, especially since BlackRock is going to launch an Ethereum staking ETF, which makes me feel like big institutions are entering the market. However, seeing the fear index still at 22 makes me a bit nervous.

Can someone explain to beginners what exactly changes when a collateral application is approved? Will it directly affect the price of the currency? I want to learn more about this to avoid making mistakes.
